Marlet Street is one of the most well-known streets of Call by the tombstone embedded in the façade of house number 1. The Hebrew inscription commemorates the figure of Samuel ben Itshaq ha-Sardí, one of the most influential rabbis of Barcelona (ss. XII-XIII), for the patronage actions in the foundation of the Pia Almoina del Call
Marlet Street
On this street was one of the three accesses that led to the Main Synagogue. One of the names of this street was one of the "School or Synagogue of the Women" because possibly it was an adjacent building or a separate entrance in the Greater Synagogue for the women.
